I have been that mom.
The one who felt like she was hitting rock bottom even though she knew there was so much more inside of her. The mom who constantly had to battle between her job or her family or her dream.
At the same time I have been the professional working with moms in many different facets. I have been the makeup artist sitting across from moms who could not envision what ten minutes to themselves felt like. I have been the homeschooling mom who is feeling the weight of everything her household needs sitting on her shoulders.
I have been the mom asking God what do you want from me when all of my habits of perfection, control and isolation was losing the battle against the gifts laying dormant inside of me.
I have been that mom. I have been you.
So many of us know when there is a shift happening. The problem is we cannot figure out how in the world one more thing is supposed to fit in our schedule. That is why Mom School exists. Not for the mom who has it figured out. For the one who is still in the middle of it and needs a room that understands that.
